SolarWinds seeks an SEO/SEM/PPC analyst to join our team of Online Demand Generation professionals. Search Marketing is a critical component of our unique demand generation strategy.
This role will be based in Chennai, and is an outstanding opportunity to further develop your search marketing skillset. This position will be heavily involved in providing insights to the search teams for ongoing optimization, measurement, and funnel targeting.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for generating reports and recommendations that can be executed quickly to improve our demand gen results. Specific tasks will include generation of weekly performance data reports, reporting on search visitor behavior, assisting in identifying opportunities to increase value per visit, creation of weekly SEO dashboard, site path analyses, and content value analyses.
You will also play a critical role in improving the way we track and measure PPC and SEOefforts. Specific responsibilities will include: mapping out keywords and content against our sales funnel / customer life cycle, valuing content according to the funnel, and assisting the team in identifying opportunities for improvement.
This role will also include tactical support for SEO efforts, including project management, link-building, content translation management, and related activities.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with search marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
Understanding of end-to-end pay-per-click (PPC) campaign structure and optimization.
Strong analytical skills, and a comfort level proactively working with and deeply segmenting large data sets to drive actionable insights.
Experience working with high volume lead generation programs and websites.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including an exceptional grasp of internet metrics.
Clear understanding of SEO (search engine optimization), including on-page, technical, and off-page factors that affect rankings.
Hands-on knowledge of usability, user experience, ecommerce, and conversion testing and optimization.
Internet and Microsoft Office use (Very high comfort level with MS Excel is a must).
Self-motivated, with an ability to work individually on pre-assigned and tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, Adobe SiteCatalyst, andSEO Analysis Software (SEO Clarity or similar).
Understanding of the IT / Networking / SysAdmin audience.
Understanding of network management, monitoring, virtualization, and related topics.
Bachelor’s degree in related area, such as marketing, statistics, new media, mathematics, or advertising.
